Of Waddell work, I specially like his very strong shadows... I admire the way that he handle the edges!

ReplyDeleteFor those cynical of Scott Waddell's portrait, he artistically could suplex you on your head. When you are manly enough to do a multi figure narrative of men fighting a whale and are willing to post it for commentary, then you can talk.

ReplyDeleteI live in Dallas and after looking at figure drawing and paintings online and especially from this blog I am inspired more than ever to learn more and practice with oil paints. If anyone can recommend a class I would be really appreciative. I'd rather go by recommendations than simply looking in the yellow pages. Thanks.
I don't know of any teachers in Dallas. I would suggest coming to New York for a summer workshop at the GCA.
