Grand Central Atelier is a collaborative workspace for the study and practice of figurative drawing, painting and sculpture. Thank you so much for sharing your Photo's with us. One day I'd love to attend the school and workshops. I feel that I could really grow as an artist with the Proper training. Reading the blog here is very inspiring and maybe one day I'll be able to share my work with you all as well.
My students were so dedicated and by the end, I think I convinced them all that preparation is an asset. Also, the GCA is doing an incredible job attracting talent. It is a real oasis...and sometimes it feels like we are making a dent in art history.
I'm so ecstatic to hear that you feel that way. It's really needed both dedication and a dent in art history. If kept at it hopefully it can be reshaped back into what it once was, perhaps even greater ;)
