We are in our last week of classes before the core program takes it's summer break and the workshop schedule gets under way. The sculpture competition will be held during the week of June 7-11 and there are several events open to the public that are detailed below. We will also have student work from the core program hanging on the walls of the studios for you to see so please stop by during this week!
Monday-Friday (June 7 – 11) from 9am-6pm – Competition in progress - Studio closed to the public.
Monday & Wednesday (June 7 & 9) evenings from 6-7:30pm – Viewing of works-in-progress! The event is open to the public and free of charge. Refreshments will be served.
*Finalists are warmly encouraged to stay, but not required to participate. We will end the pose slightly early these two days so there is a bit of breathing room.
Friday (June 11) from 6-8pm – The competition room is closed for judging.
Friday (June 11) from 8-11pm - Awards Ceremony and Reception!The celebration is open to the public and free of charge. Refreshments will be served.
Winners will be announced by 8:30pm, after which, the studio will be open for viewing.
