Instructor Edward Minoff's Extended Seascape Painting Video Released

The extended version of Edward Minoff's American Painting Video Magazine Seascape Painting Video has just been released. It runs about an hour, with added footage, commentary and a greater focus on procedure and technique. It features an in depth discussion of the different studies done outdoors and how they are used back in the studio to work up to a larger seascape painting.


It costs $20 to download, and is available through the APVM website on the lower left on Edward Minoff

HRF segment to appear in American Painting Video Magazine

The next issue of American Painting Video Magazine will be available October 1st. This issue will include a segment on plein air painting filmed at the Hudson River Fellowship. Among the artists doing demos are Jacob Collins, Edward Minoff, and Thomas Kegler. More information on the APVM website, check it out!

American Painting Video Magazine


This is the trailer for Michael Klein's new American Painting Video Magazine. For $10 you can download over two hours of content that includes a still life painting demo with Travis Schlaht and an interview with Jacob Collins. This is a fairly new project but it has recieved some great reviews on facebook from people who have watched the first issue. Michael Klein and Travis Schlaht both studied with Jacob Collins at the Water Street Atelier and now teach at GCA.
