End of year student show, part 1

The core program is D_O_N_E for the summer! We had a big party last night and everyone hung up their top 2 or 3 pieces of the year. The south studio has been converted into an art gallery for the month of June, so if you are in New York, please stop by and see it! These photos really don't do justice to the real thing (I'm not doing a very professional job at documenting the student work) Visiting hours are Monday through Friday 1-2 PM and 5-6:30 PM. You can also see the artwork during the sculpture competition reception, June 11, 8 PM. This is the first installment, check back in the next few days to see the rest of the work.

end of the year student work, part 1

Yesterday was the last day of class for students in the core program before summer break and the workshop schedule which starts right away on Monday. Each student has submitted their 3 best pieces of the year for a student exhibition which is open to the public June 8-12. I'll be posting images of all the submitted work here on the blog, which will take several installments, so stay tuned!
